He has had the honor of conducting for Tony Award winners Christine Ebersole and Nell Carter, and has worked closely with artists ranging from Andy Williams and Debbie Reynolds to Clay Aiken, The Manhattan Transfer, and Francis Ford Coppola.
As a musical director, David earned a 2003 L.A. Ovation nomination for his work on PLAID TIDINGS at the Pasadena Playhouse, a show for which he is also credited as co-arranger with Brad Ellis (GLEE). Other theatre credits include PIRATES! and OKLAHOMA! at the Paper Mill Playhouse, ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY in cities across the U.S., and FOREVER PLAID, a show with which David has enjoyed a 16-year history - starting with the original NY cast in Los Angeles, and continuing with engagements in Japan, San Diego, Denver and Santa Barbara, to name a few. He was also music supervisor and orchestrator for FOREVER PLAID, THE MOVIE, which debuted in 2009.
Snyder's theatre orchestration credits include the shows ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY (starring Rita McKenzie), A SHINE ON YOUR SHOES, DOGMUSIC, THE MOLLY MAGUIRES, PABLO, INSOMNIA and HEAVEN KNOWS.
